One screen, room to read.

The monitor is the frame for the whole site. Journal, Signal, Lab, Observatory and About open inside the same screen, with their own reading space and controls.

The left channel holds X, Dispatch and Lab updates. On a small screen, Updates opens that channel when it is useful and leaves room for the writing the rest of the time.

Each essay also has a direct address and a complete reading page. You can share a piece, return to it, or read it without entering through the cinematic scene.
